Some suggestions for electrostatic protection measures

1 . Use anti-static paint

Where there is a requirement for electrostatic protection, the interior decoration materials must be anti-static. The inner wall and ceiling surface should use anti-static firewall board or spray electrostatic conductive epoxy coating, the coating has anti-aging, fire-proof, waterproof performance, and the surface resistance is in the range of 10 6-10 9 Ω. We generally use this material in the construction of clean workshops, and the effect is very good. The triboelectric voltage is determined to be zero, and other properties are in compliance with the standard. Conductive melamine materials should be used for air supply ducts and air supply outlets to avoid static electricity accumulation when air is flowing.

2. Supporting facilities

There must be corresponding supporting facilities in the production workshop and the computer room used by the communication equipment to form a path for electrostatic discharge.

1) Put the terminal equipment on the anti-static workbench, which is connected to the electrostatic grounding system. If it is an ordinary workbench, an anti-static workbench pad should be placed on the table.

2) If the ground is not an anti-static ground, an anti-electric ground mat should be placed on the ground, which is connected to the electrostatic ground.

3) The conveyor belt used in the production workshop must be made of conductive rubber or metal belt.

4) The rack and turnover box for placing sensitive devices in the production workshop and the wheel of the trolley for transporting the devices must be made of conductive plastic and conductive rubber.

5) Work chairs and curtain cloths should be made of anti-static and flame-retardant fabrics to avoid static electricity accumulation and discharge.

6) When storing circuit boards, use anti-static shielding for packaging.

7) The human body system resistance value detector should be installed at the entrance of the workshop.

8) For some insulator articles and equipment, use antistatic agents and ion wind eliminators to eliminate static electricity on paper tapes and tables as needed.

3. Control the temperature and humidity of the workshop and use site environment

The humidity of the environment is closely related to the generation of static electricity. For example, in the winter and spring seasons and northern dry areas, static electricity is the peak period, and the temperature should be controlled in the range of 18-28 ℃, and the humidity should be controlled in the range of 40%-70% according to international regulations. Therefore, when selecting air-conditioning equipment, the reliability of constant temperature and humidity should be considered to ensure that the relative humidity is within the specified range.

4. Human body anti-static clothing

The human body is sometimes charged as high as 2-10KV due to walking and moving. It is necessary to use wrist straps and foot straps and wear anti-static clothes, shoes, socks and gloves to discharge static electricity. For example, in a purification workshop, use anti-static clean clothes and shoes. Equipment maintenance personnel should use anti-static maintenance kits on site.

5. Good grounding system

The purpose of grounding is to speed up the leakage and diversion of static electricity, so that the static charge of charged objects can be smoothly discharged and quickly led away to avoid static electricity accumulation.

1) The grounding resistance should be below 4 Ω.

2) The grounding of the electrostatic protection system and the grounding of the protection system cannot be connected in series.

3) The conductor used for grounding must have sufficient mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.

4) The wire for the fixed equipment should be a multi-strand flexible braided wire of 1.25 mm² or more.

Some suggestions for electrostatic protection measures

1 . In the construction and reconstruction of production sites and use sites in information engineering, not only the civil engineering design must be perfected, but also the electrostatic protection must be designed in accordance with the national standard.

2 . To strengthen the research and development of anti-static engineering materials and supporting products, the products applied to the project must be approved by the national inspection department before they can be used. Product standards should be gradually integrated with similar foreign products, and production should be carried out according to national standards.

3. To establish a set of construction management procedures. Strengthen construction management to ensure the quality of the project. After the completion of the project, the anti-static test shall be carried out, and the monitoring shall be carried out at least every year after the completion of the acceptance.

4. Newly built production plants and use sites should take into account the development of new technologies and leave room to meet higher anti-static requirements.
