Anti-static measures for production and use environment in information engineering

According to the relevant national standards such as the technical requirements for computer sites GB2887-82 "Code for Design of Electronic Computer Room" GB50174-93 "Code for Construction of Electronic Computer Room" and other standards, the problems reflected in many years of construction, the author believes that the following should be paid attention to in information engineering A few points:

1. Properly carry out anti-static environment design

The anti-static design of the production environment in information engineering is one of the most important measures to eliminate the hazards of static electricity, and it is a very critical issue. For example: An integrated circuit factory has invested tens of millions in infrastructure construction, and the project is reworked because anti-static measures are not considered in the design; a program-controlled telephone production factory has a large investment, because anti-static measures are not adopted, which causes the quality of the whole machine to drop . Therefore, in the information engineering, the environmental design of the new factory infrastructure or the old factory renovation should be regarded as an important issue. It should be included in the content of the project, and measures should be taken from the design of process equipment, air conditioning, and interior decoration. Different anti-static measures are taken for microelectronic factories, complete machine factories, various computer rooms, program-controlled telephone rooms, intelligent buildings, and communication rooms. The design basis is as follows:

1) Determine the electrostatic breakdown voltage of the insulating film of the microelectronic device.

2) Determine the electrostatic breakdown voltage of the sensitive devices selected for the whole machine.

3) Determine the electrostatic resistance of the equipment selected in the project.

2 . Correctly select anti-static floor materials.

For a better anti-static production environment, the ground is particularly important. When choosing an anti-static floor, the upper and lower limits of the system resistance value of the anti-static floor should be taken into consideration. It should not only conduct static electricity, but also ensure the safety of the operators. The floor should be measured before construction. The surface resistance and volume resistance of the material. After the completion of construction and the use stage, regular monitoring is also required. During the Eighth Five-Year Plan period, the first-generation floor materials mainly used in China were anti-static products such as rubber and PVC plastics. Due to the existence of aging, shrinkage, non-abrasion resistance and poor anti-fouling ability (conductive carbon black falling off), poor fire performance ( Self-extinguishing) defects, the second-generation products have composite anti-static floor materials, which have improved anti-aging, abrasion resistance, anti-fouling ability, and fire resistance performance, but some moisture-proof, fire-proof, and installation effects are still poor. At present, the latest domestic anti-static floor materials are all-steel anti-static floor, mesh anti-static floor, etc. This material has new breakthroughs compared with the first and second generation products, so the anti-static performance is stable, durable, and the geometric dimension accuracy is high. Wear resistance, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, fire resistance and compression, high strength, etc. Its various technical indicators greatly exceed the performance of the first and second generation anti-static products.

In addition to laying anti-static floor materials directly in the production environment, there are more cables in the computer room and program-controlled telephones and the lower air cooling equipment, so anti-static raised floors are used. According to the test of several large computer rooms, the ground system resistance value of some computer rooms is above 1012Ω, which has become a source of static electricity. Therefore, when choosing a raised floor in the computer room, various technical indicators of the floor should be considered:

1) Whether it can meet the antistatic requirements of the whole machine and whether the antistatic can be durable, and ensure that the resistance value of the system is in the range of 106-109Ω;

2) Whether the mechanical properties meet the national standards;

3) Whether it can meet the requirements of machine maintenance;

4) Whether it can meet the requirements of equipment expansion and replacement;

5) Whether it is reasonable. Raised floor should deal with the grounding problem, ensure good grounding, strict construction management, and measure various static electricity parameters after laying.
